What does each product do?

Ribbon describes itself as the AI recruiter that handles interviews, email and SMS. Its homepage says it holds real two-way conversations that adapt in real time, with live captions, and that interviews work on any phone, in 10 languages, with follow-ups. The industries it lists include multi-site operations, warehousing and trucking, care sectors, staffing agencies and job boards. For hiring teams, its site describes scoring and ranking, custom rubrics, ATS integrations and fraud flagging.

AI Interview Agents (AIIA) runs two-way spoken first-round interviews in the candidate's browser, with no app install. The employer sets the job title, job description and the areas to cover, and the questions are built from that. The interviewer listens and asks follow-up questions based on what the candidate said. Interviews can run in English, Hindi or Arabic. For each candidate the hiring team gets a transcript, an interview report with scores and written reasoning tied to what the candidate said, and a recording when one is available. A person on the hiring team makes every hiring decision.

When is Ribbon the better choice?

Ribbon is the better choice when you want published plans and a short trial before talking to anyone. Its pricing page, as we checked it, lists named plans with a set number of seats, active roles and monthly interviews, an overage rate per interview, and a 7-day free trial. Its homepage also describes interviews that work on any phone in 10 languages, and a mix of interview, email and SMS outreach. When is AI Interview Agents the better choice?

AIIA is the better choice when you want a spoken, two-way first-round interview that adapts to what each candidate says, in English, Hindi or Arabic. Candidates join from a link sent by email or WhatsApp and do not install anything. You can start on the free plan, paid plans are quoted by hiring volume, there are no per-seat fees, and candidates never need a licence. Small teams and agencies can start without a procurement process. If you prefer to start on a free plan and avoid per-seat fees, or you need Hindi or Arabic interviews, AIIA fits that.
