Interview languages.

Updated 9 October 2026

An AI Interview Agents interview can run in Arabic, English, Filipino and Hindi. Arabic can be Modern Standard Arabic or one of 15 country dialects, from Egypt to the Gulf. The recruiter picks one language for each role. The AI interviewer then speaks and listens in that language, and the interview questions are written in it.

This page lists every choice and says plainly what still happens in English.

Which languages can an interview run in?

There are 4 languages and 19 choices in total, because each Arabic dialect is a separate choice in the role form. A role in Cairo can use Egyptian Arabic and a role in Dubai can use the Arabic of the United Arab Emirates.

How do you choose the language?

The recruiter picks the language when creating a role or setting up its interview. The list can be searched by typing. Every candidate invited to that role is interviewed in the chosen language. To interview in two languages, create two roles.

If you ask the product to write the interview questions, it writes them in the chosen language.

What does the candidate hear in each language?

The interviewer greets the candidate, asks its questions and closes the interview in the chosen language. Candidates often mix in English words for workplace terms, and the interviewer keeps those words the way the candidate used them.

  • English: the interviewer speaks English with an Indian voice.
  • Hindi: the interviewer follows natural Hinglish, the mix of Hindi and English most candidates speak at work, not textbook Hindi.
  • Arabic: the choice without a country uses Modern Standard Arabic, which is understood across the Arab world for formal settings such as an interview. Each country choice has its own voice and speaks the way people in that country do.
  • Filipino: the interviewer speaks Filipino and keeps the English words that are normal in a Filipino workplace.

What language is the report in?

The transcript is kept in the language that was spoken. For English and Filipino interviews the scored report is written in English. Hindi interviews get a report in Hindi, and Arabic interviews, in any dialect, get a report in Arabic.

What stays in English?

  • The invitation sent by email or WhatsApp.
  • The buttons and on-screen instructions in the interview room.
  • The recruiter dashboard.

How new are Filipino and the Arabic dialects?

English, Hindi and Modern Standard Arabic have been used in real interviews for longer. Filipino and the country dialects of Arabic were added in October 2026. Before each one was added, the lines the interviewer always says were spoken by its voice, transcribed back and compared with the original text, then translated back into English to check the meaning.

If one of the newer choices matters to your hiring, run a test interview in it before you invite candidates, and tell us what you hear at contact@aiinterviewagents.com. If you need a language that is not on this list, write to the same address.
