AI Interview Agents vs Metaview: what is different.
Updated 5 October 2026
Metaview describes itself as an agentic recruiting platform. Its best-known job, per its site, is capturing notes and scorecards from interviews that people run, and it also lists a screening agent. AI Interview Agents runs the spoken first-round interview itself and produces a scored report. One records human conversations; the other holds the conversation.
What does each product do?
Metaview describes itself as an agentic recruiting platform for hiring end to end. Its interview notes page says the notetaker works in video calls on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex and Zoom, in phone interviews, and in person, with an option to take notes without a bot joining. Notes are posted to the candidate record in the ATS and map into scorecards. Its screening agent page describes a voice-based conversation that candidates take on any device from a link, with follow-ups, recordings, transcripts and scoring against a rubric.
AI Interview Agents (AIIA) runs two-way spoken first-round interviews in the candidate's browser, with no app install. The employer sets the job title, job description and the areas to cover, and the questions are built from that. The interviewer listens and asks follow-up questions based on what the candidate said. Interviews can run in English, Hindi or Arabic. For each candidate the hiring team gets a transcript, an interview report with scores and written reasoning tied to what the candidate said, and a recording when one is available. A person on the hiring team makes every hiring decision.

When is Metaview the better choice?
Metaview is the better choice when your interviews are run by people and you want them captured well. Its site describes notes that go to your ATS, scorecard integration, short video clips, summaries for hiring managers and an option to avoid a bot joining the call. If hiring managers do the first interviews and your problem is inconsistent notes and slow feedback, a notetaker addresses that directly. Its site also lists a screening agent in more than 18 languages that includes Hindi and Arabic, and a public pricing page, so you can compare plans before a sales call.
When is AI Interview Agents the better choice?
AIIA is the better choice when you want a spoken, two-way first-round interview that adapts to what each candidate says, in English, Hindi or Arabic. Candidates join from a link sent by email or WhatsApp and do not install anything. You can start on the free plan, paid plans are quoted by hiring volume, there are no per-seat fees, and candidates never need a licence. Small teams and agencies can start without a procurement process. If you want the first round to be run for you, with a transcript and scored report waiting at the end, that is the job AIIA does.
