Highlights only when earned
A highlight is cut only when a complete answer clears two checks. Many interviews produce none, and that is by design. Salary and notice period answers are never clipped.

After each AI interview, AIIA cuts a short captioned clip of the candidate's strongest answer and an introduction clip, then builds a shortlist reel of your top candidates.

A highlight is cut only when a complete answer clears two checks. Many interviews produce none, and that is by design. Salary and notice period answers are never clipped.
The candidate's answer to the opening question becomes a short introduction clip. The Decision Room shows the introductions of your top candidates in score order.
One button joins the top candidates' introductions into a single video. Download it for the hiring manager, or share one clip with a public link that shows nothing but that clip.
Highlight clips are cut for interviews run in English, Hindi or Arabic. The full recording, transcript and report are unchanged.
An interview highlight clip is a short piece of the interview recording that shows the candidate giving their strongest answer. AIIA cuts it automatically after the interview ends. The question appears at the top of the frame, the candidate's name and role sit under the video, and captions follow each word as it is spoken. The whole clip, including the question and a short end card, runs for 50 seconds or less.
The clip can be a single answer, or a short montage of two or three moments from different questions. In a montage, the interviewer's question is heard before each answer and a card marks each change of question, so a viewer always knows what was asked. Nothing is spliced to make an answer sound different from how it was given.
The system reads the transcript and the recording together and looks for one complete answer that is specific, confident and clear. A second check then reviews that choice against the question and the transcript. A clip is cut only when both agree. If they do not, the interview gets no highlight, and the report, recording and transcript are unchanged.
Zero highlights is a normal outcome. Short answers, answers that trail off, and answers about salary, notice period or pay expectations are never clipped. This protects candidates from a clip that makes them look worse than the interview did, and it protects your team from a highlight that misleads the hiring manager. The table below sets the highlight clip next to the two other clips the Decision Room produces.
| Highlight clip | Introduction clip | Shortlist reel | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it shows | The candidate's strongest answer, or two or three strong moments | The candidate's answer to the opening question | The introductions of your top candidates, in score order |
| How it is chosen | Picked, then checked a second time before it is cut | Cut for every finished interview with a clear introduction | Built from the ranked list in the Decision Room |
| Length | Up to 50 seconds, including the question | Between 12 and 40 seconds | The introductions played back to back |
| Where it appears | Next to the candidate's report in the Decision Room, and in the candidate's own portal | The top candidates rail above the Decision Room, with download and share | A download button on the same rail |
| Who can see it | The hiring team that owns the interview, and the candidate | The hiring team, and anyone who receives a shared link | Whoever receives the downloaded file |
Highlight clips are cut for interviews run in English, Hindi or Arabic, with captions in the language the candidate spoke. Introduction clips are cut for every interview language. Every clip comes from the same recording the candidate can watch in their own portal, so nothing is shown to a recruiter that the candidate cannot see about themselves.
Sharing an introduction clip creates a public link that opens a page with only that clip on it. No score, report or transcript travels with it, so a hiring manager without an AIIA login can still meet the candidate. The full recording, the transcript and the scored report remain available for every interview, with or without clips, and a person on the hiring team still makes every decision.
