Connector for ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
Updated 5 October 2026
The connector lets an AI assistant you already use work with your AI Interview Agents account. After you connect it, you can type a request such as scheduling an interview or reading a candidate's report, and the assistant carries it out through AIIA. It uses the Model Context Protocol, known as MCP.
Which assistants does it work with?
The connect page has setup steps for ChatGPT, Claude on the web, Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Gemini CLI. Any other assistant that supports MCP over HTTP can use the same address.
What can you ask the assistant to do?
| Area | What the assistant can do |
|---|---|
| Look things up | List your roles and interviews, open one interview, read a candidate's report, and view the pipeline for a role |
| Run interviews | Schedule an interview, cancel or reschedule it, send reminders, and move a candidate to another role |
| Prepare | Generate interview questions for a role and read details out of CVs |
| Screen CVs | Create a screening role, add candidates, run screening, read the results, and schedule the screened candidates |
How does sign-in work?
You sign in with your own AIIA recruiter account when you connect. The assistant then acts as you. It can reach only the data that belongs to your account, and all traffic uses HTTPS.
You need an AIIA account first. If you do not have one, book a demo.
What should you check before the assistant acts?
Scheduling, cancelling and sending reminders are real actions that reach candidates. Read what the assistant proposes before you confirm it, in the same way you would check a message before sending it yourself.
- Confirm the candidate, the role and the date before an interview is scheduled.
- Ask the assistant to list who will receive a reminder before it sends one.
- Treat a report summary from the assistant as a pointer, and open the full report before a decision.
What does it not do?
The connector does not make hiring decisions and does not reject candidates. It gives an assistant the same actions you have in the AIIA dashboard. The assistant you use handles your requests under its own terms, so check how that provider treats the content of your chats.
