Using AI interviews on client searches: what a small agency pays and gets.
Updated 26 October 2026
A small agency does not need a licence per client. One AI Interview Agents account covers every client search: each client role is a role in the account, the team shares one pool of interview credits, and every report belongs to you. Pro is 99 dollars a month for 200 interview credits, 5 seats and 30 roles.
What do agencies need to know before using AI interviews on client work?
Most AI interview tools are priced for one company hiring for itself. An agency works the other way. You run searches for several clients at once, each with its own brief, and the roles open and close every few weeks. So the questions are practical. Do I pay per client? Can my team share it? Who owns the interviews? What can I show the client?
How is it priced for an agency?
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Do I pay per client? | No. One account covers all your clients. |
| How is usage counted? | In interview credits. A 15 minute interview is one credit. |
| What does Pro include? | 200 interview credits a month, 5 recruiter seats including you, 30 roles and 5,000 resumes processed a month, for 99 dollars a month. |
| Is there a free plan? | Yes. 10 interview credits a month, 1 seat, 5 roles and 100 resumes processed a month. No card is needed. |
| Is there a contract? | No. Pro is billed monthly until you cancel. |
On Pro, a credit costs about 50 cents if you use the whole pool. Compare that with one placement fee, and a month of first rounds costs less than a small part of a single placement. For a wider look at the market, read what AI interview software costs.
How do you set it up for several clients?
- Create one role per client search, with that client's brief and the areas the client cares about.
- Upload the CVs for each search. Each is scored from 0 to 100 against that role's description.
- Invite the shortlist by email, or by WhatsApp if you turn it on. Candidates do not need an account.
- Each recruiter on the team works their own searches, and everyone draws from the same monthly credits.
- Archive a role when the search closes. On Pro, archived roles count toward the 30.
What can you show the client?
For each candidate there is a report with scores and written reasoning tied to what they said, the transcript, and a recording when available, plus short clips of key answers. You can download the report as a PDF and add it to your shortlist. Clients see evidence for each name instead of your notes alone. Open the sample report to see what a client would read.
Who owns the interviews and the candidate data?
The roles, reports and candidates are in your account, not the client's. Candidates you interviewed for one search stay in your pool, and you can find them again later with agentic resume search. Read how data is handled on the security page.
Where does it not fit?
Retained, senior or confidential searches usually start with your own conversation. If a client insists on running the first round themselves, or needs a technical test first, use AIIA after that step or not at all. The report supports your judgement. It does not replace it.
