How to turn your resume and a job description into an interview preparation pack

A useful preparation session starts with the job you are applying for and the experience you can discuss honestly. The free resume preparation tool brings those two documents together. It produces an editable draft that you can review, copy or download without creating an account.
Start with the two source documents
Paste the text of your resume and the target job description into the tool. Remove contact details and anything you do not want processed before you submit. You can add a role title or seniority when the description does not make them clear. The form shows the current text limits and free-use allowance.
The tool processes your submission with AIIA's model provider. AIIA does not save the documents or generated pack as a report by default. Provider processing and retention depend on the provider's policies and configuration. Reset clears the inputs and result held on the page.
Read the evidence map before practising
The pack maps job requirements to evidence in your resume. A supported requirement has source evidence. Partial evidence needs more detail. Evidence not provided means the resume does not establish the requirement. It does not mean you lack that ability.
AIIA checks returned quotations against the supplied resume before displaying them as source excerpts. That check establishes where the words came from. You still need to decide whether the excerpt is relevant and whether the proposed interpretation is fair.
A synthetic example
Suppose a fictional resume says, 'Built Python scripts to reconcile daily support tickets.' The fictional job description asks for Python and SQL. The Python quotation gives you an experience to discuss. If the resume says nothing about SQL, prepare a clarification about your actual SQL experience. Do not add an invented database project just to fill the gap.
Use the questions to prepare your own answers
The draft includes questions tied to the role's requirements and a follow-up for each. For a suggested experience, note what happened, what you personally did, and what you learned. Only include outcomes or numbers you can support. The tool does not write a candidate answer or predict what an employer will ask.
Edit the pack to remove irrelevant questions and add context that was missing from the documents. Copy or download the edited version. The practice link takes you to AIIA's existing interview preparation flow, where normal sign-in and session confirmation still apply. The resume pack is not automatically transferred.
What this pack cannot establish
It is not an ATS score, a hiring probability or a verified assessment of your ability. A short or contradictory job description may leave important questions unanswered. Treat those gaps as things to ask the recruiter, and check the draft against the original documents before using it.
